By Pam Christie, Director of Operations – DemGen’s April Expert of the Month
Gary and I were childhood friends. Our Mothers have been friends since they were kids! Gary owned a catering business in 1990 when my husband, Dan, and I tied the knot and he served a delicious meal to about 150 of our guests… Soon after that we lost touch…
FAST FORWARD to late 2005/early 2006… Gary called me after speaking to his Mom and telling her what he needed – HELP! I was already in business for myself for 8 years (working from my home office!)… So, Pam to the rescue and thus began the “Little Company that Should, Would and Could”!
We knew that it would take lots of blood, sweat and tears to get to where we knew we could be. I was the admin person, marketing, sales support and project manager; Gary was the sales, lead gen, accounts payable and receivable and payroll – now we have a team of experts from all fields!
AND we haven’t looked back. It has been a beautiful, sometimes bumpy, OH SO so exciting I can’t sit still ride – and I am grateful to him for believing in me and our love has grown, I know when to remove the “shiny” things that distract him, when to set him loose and when to send my love! He knows when to gently guide me, set me loose and give that BIG bear hug!
CHEERS to many, many more years – DemGen is THE BEST thing – other than my husband, Dan and our four awesome kids – to come into my life. I am grateful for very step, stage and emotion we have created with this phenomenal company.
